About Us

Back row: Beth Albright and Tom Barg. Front row: Kevin Coe and Tim Cook
Officially…we’re the department leaders at MarketSense: Tom Barg (Co-President & Executive Creative Director), Beth Albright (VP Business Development), Kevin Coe (VP Technology Services ) and Tim Cook (Co-President & Director of Client Services). We’re responsible for leading the teams that develop, implement, and measure the marketing, sales, and business solutions for hundreds of programs every month. In simpler terms, we’re the guys that answer thousands of questions, fix problems, and deal with issues on a daily basis to make stuff happen for our clients.
Each of us averages 20 years of experience in marketing, with a variety of positions in both agency and client side environments. This blog is an extension of our internal discussions about what’s happening in the marketing arena, what works, what doesn’t, why, and these days, the most often question is where next. How we help companies grow and succeed. How we do things, what we are like as a company, what makes us unique, and also a bit of where we are going on this crazy journey to reach the next level.
Many of these posts are the results of questions from clients, prospects and vendors. These questions have made us stretch and grow in ways that we often didn’t initially envision. Our growth over the past several years has been a wild ride, and we are both humbled and exhilarated by the challenges and opportunities.
You will also find posts from a wide variety of our staff, also meeting client changes head on with their own brand of knowledge, wit, insight, energy and expertise. Most of work is the culmination of best efforts from teams on these brilliant people that we feel both blessed to have, and challenged to provide ongoing support and coaching to. We know the truth is that we learn as much from them and they have said they’d like to learn from us. It is an ongoing process that challenges us all to the best we can be, everyday.
Welcome to behind the scenes….where the real action is.
